Each summer, hundreds of musicians descend upon Jackson Hole to form the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra – this July and August, the finest musicians from the best orchestras will be in residence with Music Director Donald Runnicles and distinguished guest artists and conductors for seven weeks of outstanding performances. Highlights in 2008 include Grammy Award winning violinist James Ehnes, a stellar cast from the San Francisco Opera performing Maestro Runnicles’ own arrangement of Der Rosenkavalier, celebrations of the birthday anniversary of musical visionary Leonard Bernstein.
